Enquiries are for current Mount View Primary School students only. This page does not accept public enrolments.

Why MVPS families choose Innovate

More than an after-school activity.

An established school-based program designed to grow with students from foundational exploration to increasingly independent projects.

A clear Years 1–6 pathway

Learning builds progressively rather than stopping at one-off activities.

Hands-on, minds-on

Students design, build, test, improve and solve practical problems.

Confidence and capability

Students develop their thinking while learning to explain ideas and decisions.

The whole learner

Collaboration, communication, initiative and leadership are part of the experience.

School-based programs

Three connected ways to learn.

These are MVPS delivery offerings linked to the academy’s wider Robotics & Computer Science curriculum. They are not duplicate public courses.

Years 1–6 learning progression

Every stage adds a new layer.

Students build knowledge through an age-appropriate journey, with room to enter at a level suited to their experience.

01 · Years 1–2

Foundations

Develop sequencing, logic, creativity and collaboration.

02 · Years 3–4

Skill building

Develop programming skills, project work and problem-solving.

03 · Years 5–6

Advanced application

Explore increasingly complex programming, engineering challenges and independent projects.

Learning activities and difficulty are adapted to each student’s age, experience and program.

How students learn

Create with technology, not simply consume it.

Project-based sessions combine guided learning with designing, coding, building, testing, discussion and reflection. Students practise computational thinking while developing collaboration, communication and responsibility.

Practical projects

Testing and iteration

Collaborative problem-solving

The Forge learning experience

Digital support around practical learning.

Where included in an approved 2027 program, the existing Forge platform may support structured learning pathways, guided digital practice, project portfolios, progress tracking, achievements or certifications, educator feedback and appropriate AI-supported learning.

Feature access and availability must be confirmed for each intake. This page does not create a new platform or student login.
