Forge Community · Teen Community Membership
Stay connected as you move into secondary school. Forge Community brings teens together through a summer welcome session, online meetups each school term and short video-led courses with practical activities. Optional holiday workshops in Melbourne offer opportunities to meet, make and create together.
Open to new families, continuing academy students and returning graduates. Our January 2027 launch focuses on students starting Year 7.
Who it's for
Our 2027 launch focuses on students starting Year 7. Other secondary-school families are welcome to register interest — cohort suitability and availability are confirmed individually. Community is an educator-facilitated experience, not another weekly tuition commitment, and students can contribute gradually.

Annual membership
Five live online sessions annually, totalling 7 hours, alongside four short on-demand courses.
The January session is additional to the four term sessions. Optional in-person workshops are not counted in membership hours.

The Lead My Year Card
Students identify a strength they can use, an area they want to develop, one small action, when they will practise it and someone who can support them.
“I want to ask for help earlier. During my first two weeks at school, I will ask a teacher when I’m unsure rather than leave the task.”
Leadership begins with everyday actions. This workshop gives students opportunities to practise communication, recognise their strengths and think deliberately about how they approach school, friendships and personal growth. They leave with a practical next step they have chosen themselves.
Quiet students are very welcome. Leadership here isn't about speaking loudly or performing in front of a group.
Teen workshops are optional and separately booked. The annual Forge Community membership is not required to attend.
Workshop payment does not include:
Build, Play & Create
Low-pressure construction, game-making or creative challenges. Students can choose activities and work alongside others before sharing.
